Immediate Administrative Vacancies - 2006-2007 School Year DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES The successful applicant will be involved in the following: * Provide leadership and administrative direction for human resources * Recruit and hire instructional and non-instructional personnel * Teacher certification verification * Work in collaboration with Universities and Schools of Education * Offer support and assistance with professional development programs * All advertising of jobs and job postings * Employee benefits administration * Participate in labor negotiations * Engage in legal issues pertaining to HR Candidates must hold or be eligible for New York State SAS/SDA or SBA Certification OR qualify through a Civil Service title -- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience -- * RESEARCH ASSISTANT (Civil Service Title) Bachelor's degree with credits in statistical and or research methodology. Minimum of one year experience in statistical analysis or quantitative research methods.12 month position. The candidate will collect, analyze and interpret student data. Ability to utilize computerized systems to produce spreadsheets, graphs, reports and databases. Supervise Data Analyst, Grant writing a must. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. * DATA ANALYST (Civil Service Title) Bachelor's degree and one year experience in the use of automated spreadsheets and database programs or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, human services, behavioral science or closely related field and six months experience in the use of automated spreadsheets and database programs. 12 month position. Candidate will collect data from district schools and enter it school database; review work involved in preparation of basic records, data collection procedures and formatting; systematize and organize district school data on student census, enrollment, and attendance to produce reports; provide first level support for the Student Information System.
