Customer Service Tech Outside/Inside Fork Lift Driver

PBMS is currently seeking Hazardous Material Outside/Inside Fork Lift Drivers who are customer service oriented and career-minded; and, who are able to work in a Hazardous Material environment.

Key responsibilities include:
Operate power fork lift to provide all required in plant transportation of material to and from warehousing, shipping and receiving, and research areas, and any other location for store, supply, general delivery and other purposes as required.
From written to verbal instructions, select designated materials and transports and deliver them to specific locations.
Keep storage areas in a neat and orderly manner in compliance with good housekeeping and safety rules
Relocate and store warehoused material as required.
Pick up and deliver empty pallets and containers to different buildings and designated areas around the plant.
Report malfunctions and need for mechanical repairs to supervisor.

. Unload large pieces from carrier vehicles.
Maintain, service and clean area and equipment, including charging or recharging batteries for electric trucks.
Perform duties of an equal or lesser nature as required.

REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience preferred.

- Minimum of 6 months experience working in a chemical warehouse preferred.
Certified Fork Lift license preferred.

- If not currently licensed to drive a forklift must be willing to be certified and trained to receive license.

- Minimum of 3 years forklift experience required.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Familiarity with hazardous material preferred.
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
Lifting up to 55 pounds.
Standing for long periods of time.

- Willingness to work in a Hazmat environment required.
