Customer Service Team Lead - Mail - Pleasanton

We offer on-site management of correspondence and high-volume production mail, reprographics, facsimile, records, desktop publishing, electronic documents, print-on-demand, as well as print and business recovery solutions.
PBMS is currently seeking Customer Service Team Lead candidates who are customer service oriented and career-minded; and, who are able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform any and all duties as assigned by management to include but not limited to: mail services, reception services, fax services, messenger services, shipping and receiving services.
Balance workload, direct activities of the team and serve as focal point for communications with the contract coordinator.
Ensure quality standards are met based on established objectives.
Maintain daily logs of accountable items.
Act as work flow coordinator to manage projects as needed outside normal duties.
Maintain proper records management procedures.
Ensure safety standards are being met.
Provide manager with information and recommendations on human resource and/or client related matters.
Prioritize work load assignments.
Deploy staff as required.
Responsible for area if no manager is present on site.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
Supervisory experience in Mailroom Operations preferred
Minimum of 1 year customer service related experience
Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and company personnel
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
Computer proficiency in email environments, MS Word/Excel or similar programs
. Ability to adhere and administer companies policies and procedures
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Standing for long periods of time
Significant walking
