Customer Service Representative, Paychex Online

Human Resource Services include 401(k) plan recordkeeping, workers' compensation administration, section 125 plans, a professional employer organization, and other administrative services for business. Providing first-level client support for Paychex Online Services (Paychex Online Reports, Internet Time Sheet, General Ledger Reporting Service, and Paychex Online PayrollSM) in a call center environment.
Handling correspondence from clients, CPAs, and Paychex personnel nationwide regarding online products, services, or technical concerns.
Assisting clients with PC-related procedures including file downloads, import and export functions, Internet practices, and basic PC functions.
Responding to nationwide payroll inquiries by providing information about payroll rules and regulations for all federal, state, and local agencies.
Determining when to escalate problems for additional support.
Logging phone calls and e-mails in order to build and maintain a database of issues and solutions to assist in solving common questions.
Maintaining a working knowledge of accounting software that interfaces with the General Ledger Reporting Service (i.e., Peachtree®, QuickBooks®). REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of customer service, accounting, or payroll experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience working in a call center environment is helpful.
