Customer Service Representative I

The purpose of this position is to provide world class customer service in support of the Upper Midwest Customer Service Center to Member cooperatives, Purina Dealers and Farm Retail accounts. Primary Responsibilities include: taking phone orders and inputting orders into the computer, servicing customers through researching and addressing concerns, problems or complaint transactions regarding product orders and shipments; Managing route coordination and outbound calling for orders; Supporting other departmental functions for locations such as processing reports, application of credits, ship confirmation of orders and review of contract responsibilities will be required.
REQUIREMENTS
Required (Basic) Experience & Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Proficiency with Excel, Word and 10 key. Additional schooling with three to five years customer service experience highly desired.

Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strong customer focus, both on the phone and face-to-face; Ability to work with limited supervision; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Solid communication skills; Good judgment and ability to make sound business decisions.
