Customer Service Representative

Responsible for supporting sales growth through timely and accurate response for Customer orders, change orders, debits and credits, and inquiries in compliance. Effectively manage customer account activities. Provide customer information to the Sales group, Corporate Credit, and/or division personnel regarding customer orders, volume changes, sales history, etc. as needed. Work effectively with internal and external customers to resolve items such as customer complaints, invoicing issues, and scheduling modifications that impact the customer. Performs basic price calculations from standard procedures. Must understand metric conversion and program pricing. Make decisions regarding freight methods and dates, containers and quantities to customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree in business or equivalent plus 2 to 4 years Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment or High School diploma plus 5 to 8 years Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment. Computer skills, particularly in MS-Excel and MS-Word, effective math and written communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree, preferably Business-related. 2 to 3 years experience responsible for customers. Experience working on teams to create and implement process improvement systems. Familiarity with Incoterms, customer rebates or consignment.
