Customer Service/Administrative Coordinator

Join the largest charitable organization in the nation! United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM) is an independent member of the United Way system. We bring diverse people and resources together to address the most urgent issues in our community. Through unique partnership approaches, UWCM mobilizes partners and resources to address root causes.

UWCM is looking for that special individual who can provide superior customer service to all visitors and staff and who will consistently represent the organization in a professional manner at the front desk. This is an extremely important position as it is the source of the company's first impression for all visitors. The successful candidate must have an exceptional telephone voice, be able to assist callers, route calls to appropriate staff and take accurate messages. The successful candidate will also be able to complete a wide range of administrative responsibilities including handling correspondence and mass mailings, filing, scheduling organizational meetings and assisting in special projects as needed. A working knowledge Microsoft Office applications is required.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma with at least 2 yrs. experience, strong customer service skills, general knowledge of office procedures with experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook.
