Credit Assistant

Assists in the process of credit and collections. Obtains credit reports and trade references. Ensures timely cash application and communicates with customer on short pays. Resolves over-payments, processes debit memos. Serves as back-up to the Credit Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years documented credit and collection experience which must be in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills on the telephone. Superior organizational skills. Computer literacy (Excel, Word) and proficiency with 10-key calculator. High School Diploma with Associates Degree in Accounting preferred. Applicants must pass a pre-placement drug screen and background check with an excellent personal credit history.
