The solutions involve management of the logistics pipeline as a synchronized, integrated process – from raw material supply to finished goods distribution. Ryder is seeking a Coordinator II who will work in the DOT Compliance Department, which handles Ryder's compliance with the Department of Transportation rules and regulations. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, substance abuse testing administrative functions, auditing new hire driver qualification files, recording of collisions and OSHA inspections, performing inventory of the hours of service records, data entry and auditing of DOT updates, as well as the reconciliation of the Motor Carrier Management Information System. There is heavy phone interaction and email communications with the field.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:
This position requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of one to three years’ experience. Candidate must have superior customer service skills and ability to resolve disputes with field management in a diplomatic manner. Must be detail oriented with a high degree of analytical skill, organized with a high rate of data entry accuracy. Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Access 2000 are highly desirable. Must have the ability to interpret DOT regulations and Ryder policies. Candidate must have the ability to work independently while contributing to the team's goals and objectives. Candidate must also have the ability to think things through with incomplete data and to find coherent patterns within incoherent data sets.
