Content Analyst
CSA seeks a skilled Content Analyst to drive the design, development, production, quality assurance, customer support and documentation of new content, and content-related functions and features on CSA Illumina, CSA’s award winning search and content portal for researchers the world over.CSA is a leading provider of comprehensive online and print information products and services to researchers and universities worldwide. CSA is headquartered in Bethesda, MD and is privately owned.As Content Analyst you will work with content providers, CSA editorial staff and programmers to schedule, load, evaluate and enhance CSA Illumina’s content offerings.
Content Analyst responsibilities include:
•Obtaining sample data and documentation
•Analyzing data and developing specifications for converting data to CSA Illumina format
•Developing and implementing quality control/test plans for new or reloaded content
•Working with programmers while testing converted data
•Liaising with content provider to resolve data and implementation issues, and to obtain sign-off
•Formatting and loading ancillary information such as thesaurus records, serials source lists, fact sheets and search tips
•Working with training and marketing staff to develop literature on new content.
•Assisting in the writing, updating and production of online help documentation for CSA Illumina users
•Assisting technical support staff to answer content-specific questions from customers
•Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control/test plans for new features and functions on CSA Illumina.More Information

- BS in Information Systems Management or similar technical degree or college degree
- Minimum two years experience in a technical position in an information industry or publishing company.
- Experience in product quality assessment and software testing.Language Skills•Excellent understanding of the English language, oral and written.
