Confidential Agreement Analyst / Paralegal

The candidate should have legal experience and must be a self-starter who is able to work independently with close attention to detail. The successful candidate will continuously improve the process, and contribute to the overall IP team success.Responsibilities include:
Receive agreement requests from worldwide clientele;
Communicate with client as required to determine their needs and keep client advised as to the status of their request;
Review databases and agreements to determine whether a prior agreement exists to accomplish client’s need;
Create new confidentiality agreements;
Review third party confidentiality agreement drafts;
Provide agreement drafts to third parties for execution and address any third party issues;
Monitor agreement drafts for execution, and communicate status to client;
Monitor existing agreements for expiration and determine clients desire to maintain expiring agreements;
Create amendments and extensions as necessary and accomplish execution of same;
Maintain and manage database and files for new and existing agreements;
Determine when attorney support is needed and obtain attorney input; and
Perform additional tasks to support attorneys as time permits.This position requires a significant amount of communication with internal and external clients. Strong communication skills are necessary, both verbal and written. An ability to review and comprehend documents including legal and technical information and exercise judgment is required.Experience/
REQUIREMENTS
Previous legal or contract experience required.
Computer skills, including Outlook® and Word® required; HotDocs® and Access® are useful.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.Competencies Required:
