Assists Compliance Director in ensuring PreCheck clients are in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) regarding adverse action procedures and requirements. Performs sanction checks using the National Healthcare Databank (NHDB). Assists with compliance issues and all associated tasks.Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with clients regarding their applicant’s background reports and compliance with pre-adverse and adverse action requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.
Receives inbound phone calls from and makes outbound phone calls to applicants regarding their background reports and adverse information in their reports.
Gives direction to applicants in compliance with the FCRA and FACT Act and methods for contesting or correcting information in the reports.
Inputs accurate data into modules and websites using format consistent with pre-established guidelines.
Uses time-management skills to fulfill requirements within timelines set by the FCRA and FACT Act.
Researches online records and databases for board actions/disciplinary actions and public records.
Contacts state healthcare agencies/boards to obtain recent and historical public records and clarification on records.
Reviews returned records for accuracy and completeness and crosschecks with existing PreCheck proprietary databases for matches and makes corrections as needed.
Works closely with Compliance Director to gather and interpret data received.
Prepares Certificates of Compliance, Cover Letters, Customized Affidavit Forms, Exhibits and Instructions for SanctionCheck reports.
Create, maintain and update charts, graphs and PowerPoint reports for presentations and training.

2 years of College or 2 to 3 years of Customer Service Representative experience preferred.
Familiarity with medical titles, positions and regulatory requirements in healthcare preferred.
Familiarity with criminal records and court terminology preferred.
Must have strong time management skills, the ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have excellent and accurate typing skills for preparing client reports and letters.
Must have excellent computer skills – MS Office and Internet.
Must have excellent telephone etiquette and professional manner suitable for completing work on behalf of clients.
Must be resourceful and have a strong attention to detail.
Ability to effectively handle time-critical issues, remain productive and meet goals in stressful situations.
