Baker Oil Tools has an immediate opening for an experienced Compensation/Human Resource Information Services ( HRIS ) Manager. This position will be located in Northwest Houston.Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and coordinates policies covering the Division's worldwide compensation program. Responsible for designing, developing and directing ongoing administration of HRIS. Supervises HRIS team in processing and maintaing employee records. Directs the preparation of statistical summaries and special reports from the employee record database. Handles more complex assignments, including the administration of the Incentive Compensation Program and Merit process. Counsels and communicates with managers on compensation policies, procedures and programs. Will participate in cross-divisional HR teams. Will have budgetary responsibility. Works with managers and HR representatives to evaluate and document jobs, and ensure employees are classified in correct jobs and grades. Oversees the administration of salary adjustments, using available market data. Ensures accuracy of salary data in HRIS system, including international pay packages. Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, procedures and HRIS systems. Strong database management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team. Effective management skills. Experience as a manager. Strong compensation background required. SAP experience required.
