(NYCO102)For over seventeen years, Pearl Meyer & Partners (PM&P) has been recognized in the industry as a premier compensation consultancy. We serve as trusted advisors to Executive Boards and their senior management in the areas of corporate governance, strategy and compensation program design.
As a Consultant you will participate in the design, development, and implementation of executive compensation strategies. You will manage major portions of client projects, including the creation of essential deliverables. To do this you will assess client environments and needs, conduct competitive practices research, develop market data analyses and recommendations, and conduct compensation and organizational assessment surveys.
Our Compensation Consultants are responsible for:
Managing various sized projects by defining project management and protocol (e.g. defining timeframes, allocating resources and conducting quality reviews).Serving as a client contact; developing an understanding of client needs and proactively presenting solutions as well as identifying the potential expansion of services for clients.Extensive report and letter writing in addition to preparing charts, graphs, tables and analyses for client reports.Assisting with and managing the work of others.Responsible for helping educate and train others within the practice.Resolving client compensation issues, specifically:- Examining financial performance comparisons among client peer companies. - Developing client specific competitive pay analyses, utilizing regression analysis and proxy research. - Analyzing and designing short and long term incentive plans. - Designing and implementing compensation and reward programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Skills to be successful are:
Proven technical, plan design, facilitation, and project leadership skills.Proficiencies with financial performance measures and statistics. Experience or familiarity with financial software tools (i.e., Standard & Poor's Research Insight or Bloomberg).Fluent in various forms of long-term incentive compensation vehicles including an understanding of option pricing models (BSV and binomial), tax and accounting treatment, plan documents, and dilution calculations.Ability to interpret complex information (SEC regulations, proxy disclosures, FAS 123R, 10k annual report analysis, etc).Bachelor’s degree with 3-6 years of hands on experience in the design and implementation of compensation programs in a corporate or consulting environment.
