Commercial Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager
Title Resource Group (TRG), is a full-service title, settlement, and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations, and financial institutions. Texas American Title Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of TRG, is currently seeking a Commercial Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager in the Austin, TX area. This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Oversee Personnel: Hiring, Termination, Performance and documenting challenges, Recruiting, Training and encouraging participation in company provided training programs, approve incentive requests, approve expense reports, managing vacation accruals, building higher office morale, encouraging growth and opportunities for advancement, instilling high customer service levels and expectations, team coaching. Office Management: Equipment Maintenance, Ordering office supplies thru centralized purchasing, and oversees vendor’s i.e. office cleaning, window cleaning, pest control, phones etc. Closings: Manage personal case load, oversee Distribution of orders, Direct Work Flow, Closing Questions, Underwriting, Ensure Closing Corrections and elimination of defects, Maintain 1099 reports, source of business reports, closing calendar. Travel to closings outside office required. Accounting Matters: Ensure Revenue remittance via fee transfer, Oversee Daily BOA reports (wires etc.), run Trial Balance Reports to monitor overages and losses and manage accordingly, review of monthly reconciliation reports and questions, managing outstanding deposits and checks, compliance with company policies and procedures. Marketing and Customer Service: Partner with the AE assigned to your branch and support Operation Relationship efforts. Meet with AE weekly to share the word on the street and establish plans to ensure our success. Attend occasional sales meetings and functions to ensure visibility, deliver exceptional service to our customers and to each other. Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
The Commercial Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager must be proficient in Commercial title insurance closings, title clearing, HUD1 preparation, closing, and funding, recording, and prepost settlement processes. The position requires min 3 years in title insurance and the ability to develop, coach and mentor a staff of direct reports. The Commercial Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager must be a team player with strong customer relation skills and must be willing to assist with the sales efforts. An Escrow Officers license or the ability to obtain an Escrow Officers license is required. Knowledge of TLTA/ALTA rate rules and procedures is required. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
