We are currently building a team of VistA (Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture) experts to combine with our commercial healthcare staff to create a world class VistA support team. This team will support both federal and commercial clients interested in implementing, or enhancing the VistA solution in their environment.Our approach combines a broad range of clinicians, business analysts and IT specialists to bridge the gap between technology and the delivery of high-quality patient care. This approach fosters the establishment of IT best practices, utilization of performance based tools, and operational efficiencies within the VistA solution.We are seeking both entry level and seasoned professionals, in various locations across the US, that bring working understanding and experience with the VistA solution, and who have wide-ranging abilities to participate in an integrated team. Potential candidates must be US citizens that possess a strong team work ethic, be client focused with great attention to detail, and have a dedication to our nation's veterans. The Perot Systems team has a commitment that supersedes individual achievement and a passion for excellence.Perot Systems is looking for a wide range of clinical ancillary healthcare professionals with direct patient care experience in areas such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, Occupational/Physical Therapy, etc. These healthcare professionals will support improvements to the VistA system and to ensure that all modifications provide the greatest clinical value with the least impact to the delivery of care. Clinicians will be involved in every step of problem and solution definition, requirements development, and then testing of the solution to ensure that all technology solutions are focused on improving care deliver. Every change to the clinical systems will be designed and approved by clinicians.Requirements:

A clinical degree and 4 years of experience.

Patient care experience

Thorough understanding of clinical care delivery

Ability to translate user needs into technical specifications

Experience with healthcare IT systems, either through project work (implementations, upgrades) or steady state operational support

Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearanceDesired Skills:
Multiple years of successful professional experience within the healthcare IT community in a consulting role, serving as a strategic leader and team player.
