Client Services Director (CSD) – Charlotte, NC

This position reports to the Regional Client Service Director (RCSD) and is responsible for overseeing the sales support organization, including service for the Regional Group Office(s). This involves ensuring the business retention goals and cross-selling goals are met. This person is accountable for the service that is provided to new and existing clients and the enrollment of new cases. This individual ensures that the sales support staff in their territory are properly trained, licensed and equipped with the tools and resources needed to perform their duties. The position is responsible for implementing the workflow strategy, policies and procedures as set forth by their leaders. The individual is responsible for overseeing the management of key accounts, allocating resources for special projects, monitoring expenses, providing performance feedback and ensuring the sales support operations for their assigned territory meet or exceed goal.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6-8 years of related experience. Must have resident and nonresident license(s) as applicable. Requires advanced knowledge of business unit products, services and systems. Must have excellent leadership, coaching, decision-making, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Must have basic to advanced computer skills. Requires the ability to work with little supervision and with strict deadlines. Will spend a minimum of 65% of their time out of the office in face-to-face contact with customers, both internal and external and brokers. Some travel may require overnight stay.
