The Client Service Professional is the primary point of contact for all service related needs of a Private Banking client. He/She is responsible for establishing, maintaining and building client relationships. The Client Service Professional works in a team oriented environment with bankers, various product partners, and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated approach to client banking across all Private Banking products. Examples of these products include deposit, banking, brokerage, custody, investment management, fiduciary, mutual funds, credit, foreign exchange and private investments. Given the involvement with securities-related instruments, the position requires NASD/NYSE series 7/63 licenses (not required at application).
The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use communications and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction. We are looking for strong client service experience and the willingness to operate in a team environment.
Service Professionals are responsible for the following:
Provide high quality, high touch service to Private Banking clients. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining various products for clients.
Manage daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
Research, follow-up and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, bankers, product partners, branch/operations areas, and other staff in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate and follow through on client requests for products and services (i.e., check orders, credit draw downs/pay downs, open/close accounts, credit cards requests, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
Solid understanding of the industry and experience with a wide range of investment products.
Effective communication and problem solving skills.
Proficiency and aptitude with systems and databases.
Education and Experience:
Financial Services and / or Banking industry experience preferred. Strong client/customer service experience.
College degree or equivalent financial experience.
Series 7/63 licenses required for position and preferred upon hiring, but must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
