Classroom Operations Liaison
POSITION SUMMARY: Under minimal supervision, this position provides customer service to faculty by acting as a liaison and communicating information related to policies, procedures and standards, which may entail the occasional use of discretion and judgment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A general knowledge of business and/or education as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field.
Proven experience in a business, education or service environment performing administrative and customer service related activities, including responding to customer inquiries regarding organizational products, policies, procedures, and standards.
Proven knowledge and understanding of University academic policies and procedures strongly preferred.
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers, as well as handle moderately complex and sensitive interactions with faculty, as described above.
Must also possess excellent communication skills to maintain a positive, professional and helpful attitude with customers.
Must have the ability to acquire and utilize a sound knowledge of company's information systems, as well as, fundamental knowledge of company, services and products, as described above.
Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to create and generate reports, as well as, retrieve and track reporting data, as described above.
Must possess excellent organizational skills to display the ability to provide timely, accurate information on a variety of academically oriented subjects, as described above.
ADDITIONAL POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Provide customer service to other internal departments including Student Services. Research and process inquiries from internal departments in order to provide accurate information for resolution.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of 2 years administraive experience. Must also be proficient with MS Office. Must be reliable, dependable and able to manage yourself with little direction.
