Claims Assistant

This position reports to the Loss Services OSD Manager. The position provides support to Claim Examiners on administrative, clerical, and technical functions. Includes faxing, photocopying, maintaining information in various database applications or spreadsheets, coordinating travel arrangements and reimbursement expenses, preparing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, responding to inquiries and other various duties as assigned.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with knowledge of Claim computer applications are required. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of initiative and attention to detail, along with excellent organizational/time management skills. Proven ability to work independently and to prioritize and manage multiple work requests are also a must. Also looking for strong communication(written and verbal), teamwork, relationship management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 3 years or more of Chubb CSR or related experience. Mathematical aptitude a plus.
