Charge Entry Clerk needed ASAP!

Classification: Temporary Compensation: $10.86 to $14.36 per hour The charge entry specialist is responsible for the entry into the computer system and the proper file maintenance of charges, payments, and adjustments as assigned by the charge entry Supervisor. The Charge Entry Specialist also provides back up to the data entry supervisor when necessary and covers other functions in the department as is deemed necessary by the Director, including but not limited to answering the general patient accounts phone line, posting address changes, sorting mail, and creating the depositAll applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of office experience preferably in a medical billing setting. Ten key by touch and 45 WPM typing minimum. Preference given to candidates with third party billing certificate, or background in ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding.
