Cashier Main Duties Include but not limited:

-Welcome customers with a smile and eye contact
-Cashiering: Cash handling with accuracy and speed of service
-Keep the cashier line clean and filled at all times
-Regularly clean the your work area and kitchen throughout the work day
-Monitor temperatures through out the day
-Describe menu items for customers and suggest specials
-Food preparation such as Setting up Salad and Deli Bar in an attractive orderly manner, cutting desserts and displaying them in an attractive orderly manner
-Maintain and stock the beverage case

Pantry Prep Main Duties Include but not limited:

-Daily preparation of cold pantry area.
-Use of the Slicer for slicing meats and cheeses
-Set up Cold Pantry Area for service
-Ensure area is clean and sanitary
-Use of correct food handling procedures
-Superior customer service

We currently have an opening at Berkshire Life Insurance Company for a Cashier with some Food Prep Experience


The ideal candidate will have 2+ years as a cashier demonstrating accurate cash handling skills and exhibiting superior customer service with the ability to bring flash and flare to an exciting professional work environment. Food prep experience in preparing a variety of salads and grab and go food items is required. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to stocking food and paper products in the front of the house; setting up and maintaining full food displays, and serving hot food to customers for this eclectic corporate restaurant. HACCP knowledge a plus.
