Shft: DaysJob Description:Posting/Coding of all payments,adjustments and zero-pays on patient accounts that are received from third party payors and patients. Resolve all payments in a suspended status. Code/Post all electronic postings received. Resolve accounts set up for unassigned cash each month. Resolves problem payments independently using sound judgment and following established policies and procedures. Organize workload to meet deadlines by keying payments in an accurate and timely manner, meeting established productivity goals.Experience: Position requires one to be proficient in the use of 10-key adding machine. Knowledge of Insurance Explanation of Benefits preferred. Experience in computer usage.Education/Licensure: High School Graduate.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have ability to adapt to new and or changing environments, have good communication skills, present themselves well to our patients and exhibit empathy, compassion while remaining professionally persistent in the liquidation of the balance due.
