Advertising Sales Representative-Call Center

We currently have an immediate opening for a full time Advertising Sales Representative in our classified division.

Primarily responsible include answering in-bound calls, making out-bound calls, and assisting advertisers in the proper placements of ads. Additional responsibilities include recognizing sales opportunities and acting upon them as well as applying advertising standards of acceptability and appropriate credit procedures, as well as soliciting for new business.

Hours will be between Mon – Fri, 8-hour shift between 8:30am – 5:30pm.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have telephone sales experience. Type 45 wpm and be proficient in a Windows 95 environment. Display good follow through and communication skills to satisfy customers' needs. Interface with customer service in order to handle customer complaints and/or be able to refer to proper area for handling. Good negotiation skills are essential. Be able to apply good sales techniques, have good time management, and display excellent organizational skills in order to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast paced, goal-oriented, atmosphere. Bilingual, English & Spanish is a plus!
