The scope encompasses scheduling, obtaining authorization, registration updates and insurance requirements. Moderate keyboarding skills (30-40 wpm); knowledge of basic medical terminology; strong organizational skills; superior verbal and written communication skills; superior customer service skills; flexibility and the ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and/or patients in person. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Must be able to work in various departments with an outgoing personality and enjoys challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills a must and computer knowledgeable. Medical back office experience and medical terminology preferred. Ability to prioritize, work with heavy telephones. Multi-tasked, fast learner and ability to adapt to various departmental needs. Must be a team player and takes pride in work.
