COSTUME SERVICES TECHNICIANS 2 POSITIONS - CS004

COSTUME SERVICES TECHNICIANS (2 POSITIONS - CS004): The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is seeking two qualified individuals to work part-time (approx. 30 hours per week) to support Costume Services through repairing and mending garments, constructing simple unfitted garments, laundry and assisting in daily shop operations. TO QUALIFY: Able to hand sew garments and use a computerized sewing machine; able to use a washer and dryer; able to take accurate body measurements; able to execute simple commercial sewing patterns; able to perform extensive lifting, sitting, bending, reaching, and standing; and knowledge of 17th and 18th century garments worn in Virginia.
