Business Analyst - Pharmacy Services

Bachelor's Degree in business or health care related field required. Primary responsibility is to serve Group Purchasing Services and data analysis needs to maximize cost savings for Owner Hospitals. Second responsibility is to lead analytics for special projects within the department. Some of the duties include: Review and analyze purchasing data, but not limited to: assessing contract compliance levels; ensuring appropriate fee payments, analyzing volume trends, identifying opportunities to maximize cost savings through purchasing contracts. Design and develop standard reports, develop summary report/deliverable. Create and provide materials for marketing and contract compliance reviews for use during site visits. Ensure correct administrative fees are paid on Hospital purchases. Audit vendor-provided contract pricing files. Establish and maintain an accurate Roster of program participants in eVaccines program. Plan special projects within the division. Execute and lead analysis for special projects. Demonstrate excellent customer service. Must have experience working with business data analysis; a strong aptitude for data analysis; strong analytical and problem solving skills; strong organizational skills and ability to use discretion in working with highly confidential information. Requires knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Crystal Reports software-ability to learn new software applications in a short amount of time. Knowledge of purchasing/materials management practices; and knowledge of group purchasing. There will be mild to moderate travel required.
