Billing Specialist Clerk

Medical clinic on the outskirts of the Medical Center is looking for some strong 'ready to work' people for a long term temporary assignment in the billing and coding area.


You will be contacting payors regarding unpaid claims, appealing inappropriate reimbursements, monitoring payments received on CPT codes, responding to customer service and collection billing inquiries, re-bills, and appealing identified CPT codes not paid correctly, contacting third party carriers to verify insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility and referral authorizations, contacting patients to verify insurance information and discuss account information (WC, OJI, HMO, etc.), and posting payments on account when collected, using patient accounting system.

REQUIREMENTS


You must have 3-5 years experience in this field and/or successful completion of a billing/coding program.
Strong computer skills are a must and knowledge in IDX system is a plus. Eager individuals with this experience and great computer skills are highly encouraged to apply today!
