The qualified candidate will extend their process, system, technical and administrative expertise to their assigned Billing Team.
Specific responsibilities include:
Apply payments and denials to third party carriers in all media types
Interpret Explanation of Benefits for proper calculation of disallowance assignment of denial codes and appropriate follow up action
Complete refunds/adjustments to customer’s accounts, while providing the necessary back-up information to maintain accuracy
Research unidentified payments to determine proper account
Reconcile and balance cash batches prior to submission to support and the in-transit log
Research and solve resubmissions to ensure proper posting of cash in a timely manner
Meet or exceed daily production and quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will possess a HS diploma or equivalent and at least one year of previous billing experience. Proficient PC skills, a basic knowledge of Access database, and reconciliation/balancing skills are also required.
