Bilingual Human Resources Benefits/Worker’s Compensation Coordinator


$11.00/hr starting with $.50 increase after 6 months

The HR Benefits and WC Coordinator supports operations of the HR Department through many critical data tracking and entry functions for large fast-paced distribution center with over 1,100 employees. Responsibilities will include: Tracking all safety incidents and updating OSHA 300 log, calling in WC claims to insurance carrier and communicating with injured employees about their claims in a timely manner, scheduling and tracking ARB attendance, producing several reporting tools for management on weekly basis, assisting in annual open enrollments, presenting all new hire orientation benefits, data entering new hire benefit elections, maintaining confidential medical files and leave of absence data, updating bulletin boards and table toppers with benefit specific information, processing termination notices, mass personnel filing, and posting weekly safety details. All other administrative projects and duties as assigned by HR Coach or HR Manager. REQUIREMENTS
Abilities/Experience:
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint (a skills assessment test will be required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Strong mathematics and reading skills
• Must be bilingual (fluent reading and writing in both English and Spanish)
• 1-2 years of prior administrative experience in a high-volume office
