Bid Management Analyst III
Job Description: JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for supporting the preparation and implementation of formal bid responses for DHL's largest and most strategic customers (Global, Multinational, National, and Large Field Accounts). Work at a regional level directly with Sales Managers and Directors in developing bid packages which set high standards for quality of content and timeliness of response, ensuring proper cross functional input and post bid implementation, tracking and reporting. Provide key process management support to the Bid Management team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Produce high quality bid proposals for strategic accounts and coordinate the timely cross-functional input to the proposal. Ensure proper post bid implementation and reporting.2. Solicit input and consensus from cross-functional departments regarding bid proposals.3. Consult with the Sales organization and other support departments regarding the design of the bid process, the sufficiency and quality of the materials used and the timeliness of the overall process.4. Analyze overall bid performance, design and produce management reports and identify significant changes in trends and recommend corrective action and process improvements.5. Develop regular bid support material for those bids that Sales will be self supporting in their preparation of bid packages, in cooperation with Sales and/or Marketing personnel.6. Recommend and assist with implementation of improvements to the bid process.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience required. Advanced is degree desirable.2. Minimum 2 to 4 years, typically having 4 or more years experience in contract administration, web and PC supported technical document preparation and the development of business processes and procedures.3. Possess advanced knowledge of PC and web based technologies including: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Access, MS-FrontPage, MS-SharePoint.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations. Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
5. Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

6. Able to read and interpret data reports. Able to understand and perform complex data analysis.
