Benefits Coordinator

Harborside Healthcare, a leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare, is seeking a career-oriented individual to work at our Corporate Office located in Boston, Massachusetts. We are seeking a full-time Benefits Coordinator. Harborside Healthcare owns and operates 50+ facilities located in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United StatesAs our Benefits Coordinator you will assist the VP of Benefits and coordinate the Benefits Programs for long-term care facilities located around the United States.Brief Summary of Responsibilities include (but are not limited to);
*Proficiency in Ceridian payroll system
*Assisting with the ERISA self-funded health and dental benefits program, including additional programs for STD/LTD, Life insurance, Flex Spending acct, Union Health and Welfare plans,*Daily/monthly administration of the 401(k) plan, including utilizing the Fidelity Internet PSW system for enrollments, payouts, reporting, and monthly funding
*Prepare monthly senior management reports
*Maintain and track FMLA/LOA program including various additional States and Union requirements, keeping an active log, and tracking payments.
*Audit and process vendor invoices, wire transfers, and check deposits
*Order and distribute benefits supplies for all facilities, also assemble materials and instructions for annual open enrollment
*Assist and be a resource for benefits issues and questions from facilities representatives and employees
*Send out COBRA notifications for vendor health plans
*Perform audits on invoices, qualifications for benefits, etc.*Some traveling and training is required
*Maintain files and supplies
*Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in business or related
*Must have prior benefits experience
*Strong ability to multi-task functions
*Computer skills needed; MS Word, Excel and some Access
*Excellent customer service skills
*Financial and Human Resource experience (minimum 4 years of either or both)
