The Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation is a not for profit corporation that exists to provide medical services, research and education. The foundation provides the infrastructure for the delivery of physician services, and contracts with a separate corporation comprised of physicians and other care providers to deliver the clinical services. This multi-specialty foundation will provide a platform from which new physicians can be recruited to continue to provide physician services in a nonprofit, community setting. The Foundation's vision is to create a medical group that will delivery high quality, market competitive medical services.

The Authorization Coordinator will have responsibility for completing all authorizations for the Neurology Department. This includes pharmacy refills prior authorizations
REQUIREMENTS


High school diploma GED equivalent. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to create and maintain an orderly, readable record keeping system. Past computer and data entry experience is preferred. A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a team. Basic medications, abbreviations, terminology associated with Pharmacy refills, IDX System. Knowledge of computers; Excel and Word proficiency, and skill in the operation of other office equipment.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills (knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation). Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures. Ability to maintain a neat and organized work space. Skills in operating general office equipment. The ability to work independently and be a self starter. Must have understanding of Word and Excel.
