Assistant Superintendents & Superintendents

Position Duties:
I. Scheduling
A. Ensure the delivery and installations in accordance with the construction schedule.B. Provide adequate notification to trade contractors and suppliers of any schedule changes or delays through weekly written communication.
C. Order materials to ensure their timely delivery to job sites in accordance with scheduling requirements.II. Quality Control
A. Conduct quality control inspections on all jobs unnder construction on a daily basis to ensure all work is in compliance with published plans and quality standards.
C. Provide feedback and recommendations regarding ways to improve the installation process.III. Customer Satisfaction
A. Identify and review customer feedback or concerns with the upper management and make recommendations regarding resolution.
B. Maintain excellent customer relations by communicating with the sales team to answer questions and provide construction updates.
C. Assist other team members in achieving established customer satisfaction goals.IV. Trade Contractor and Materials Management
A. Manage installation crews to ensure proper communication and prompt resolution of any questions or problems.
B. Promptly inspect all material deliveries to ensure their accuracy and quality.V. Cost Control
A. Deliver all installs within the established budget parameters by effective management of quality, schedules, time and materials.B. Identify and propose methods of reducing building costs, cycle times and general inefficiencies.VI. Job Site and Subdivision Management
A. Ensure all site personnel comply with safety standards and with OSHA standards by monitoring job sites on a daily basis, and promptly notify appropriate parties of any violations.VII. Construction Team Management
A. Provide ongoing and initial training to Assistant Superintendents and installation crews to increase knowledge and skill levels.
B. Handle any performance problems in accordance with the established Performance Improvement Plan process.VIII. General Duties
A. On a monthly basis, start and complete the number of installations designated in the business plan.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills and qualifications:
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job in accordance with corporate requirements and professional business practices.
.Bilingual - English & Spanish
• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years construction management/superintendent background. Supervisory experience with granite/marble floor-countertop installations a "PLUS."
• Possess excellent communication skills in order to work with both external and internal customers.
• Ability to read and understand plans.
• Capable of commuting to and from job sites in a timely manner.
