Regency is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our property operations team in our Vienna, VA regional office. As a member of our property management team, the selected candidate will assist in managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the regionâ??s shopping center portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Assists in the fiscal management of the properties within the region in accordance with NOI objectives, including the maintenance of A/R and A/P, operating expense control, completion of budgeted items for Capital Improvement Program and assistance in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
Assists with operations issues such as tenant move-ins and move-outs, collections, etc.
Assists in the management of propertiesâ?? physical performance (i.e., inspections, maintenance, signage approval, etc).
Assists in the management of relations with tenants and vendors (i.e. addresses and follows up with tenant complaints via inspections, phone, correspondence and email and monitors vendors).
Works on special projects/ongoing initiatives according to current needs.
Qualifications
Bachelorâ??s degree in Business Administration or Accounting or equivalent with at least 3 years of commercial property operations experience. CPM accreditation or CPM candidate is a plus. <pi> Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.
Good quantitative, analytical and negotiating skills are required along with a strong attention to detail.
Must possess an intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook. A working knowledge of JD Edwards or other accounting software is a plus.
Must be highly trustworthy and able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing.
Qualified candidates must possess exemplary character traits and business ethics and be highly motivated to work with minimum supervision in a multi-task, dynamic, team environment.
Must possess strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
