Assistant General Manager

On April 16, 1964, Wawa Food Markets opened their first store in Folsom, PA. This store was an immediate success, and it marked the beginning of the Wawa chain of food markets. From the beginning, Wawa made a commitment to fresh food - selling fresh produce and featuring a full-service deli. Over the years, the food service offer has been expanded to meet customers' needs.

The Assistant General Manager works with the Store Management Team to facilitate the completion of all store operations tasks. This associate will supervise shifts and train and coach store associate.
Support all Wawa safety initiative.
Ensures the proper execution of all store level marketing programs.
Orders and merchandise products according to specification communicated by the Store Manager.
While supervising a shift, ensure compliance of associates with established security, safety, sales, record keeping and other operations policies, procedures and practices.

7 years retail management experience (C-store, grocery or Big Box)
Reliable Transportation
High School Diploma
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Exhibits team building and team leadership qualities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have General Manager or Multi-Unit experience in a retail, foodservice or C-store environment.
P&L Knowledge
Availability to include all three shifts, weekend and holidays
46.76 hours weekly
