Position Summary
Maintain, upgrade and improve upon IT infrastructure. Areas of responsibilities include System administration of Microsoft NT/2000 network, Internet/Intranet security; web hosting, database maintenance, e-mail services, DNS, phone systems, faxes, printers and telecommunications.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
College or technical school classes in computer science, information systems, or networking.
MCSE course work for Windows 2000 Active Directory.
Qualification/Experience
3+ years in Network Administration, LAN/WAN, web, DNS, FTP and e-mail services. Highly competent with Microsoft Windows NT/2000/2003. PC and server support, helpdesk experience. Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in the following hardware products:
Servers, PCs, routers, hubs/switches, printers, print servers, APC Back-UPS, cabling, phone systems.
Proficient in the following software products:
Microsoft Office product suite, Outlook Virus Suites, firewalls, server backup solutions.
