Purpose/Background:
To act as the one point of contact for designated international accounts providing proactive customer management services and problem resolution. Additionally will provide direction to Intermodal Service Representatives (ISRs) in the absence of Manager Administration.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the single point of contact for selected international accounts as designated by the commercial group to provide management services for terminal and CY related functions at the local terminal level.
To proactively manage the designated accounts local terminal issues in coordination with the customers? local offices.
To resolve operating problems at the local terminal level that may exist from time to time at their domiciled terminal and CY locations.
To coordinate with the operations management of the terminal to effect timely transportation services for their designated accounts.
To insure all local billings for their designated accounts are accurate and billed on a timely basis.
To assist the Manager Administration in directing the activities of the ISRs to include daily functions and to recommend discipline for ISRs when appropriate.
To interface with the sales representatives assigned to each account on customers programs, needs and problem resolution. REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in business or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a service industry with emphasis on customer service or international sales.
Major systems experience with the ability to utilize CSXI systems including: NSM, ITOPS, ICOPS, SOE/Order Entry, CSXT Mainframe functions. PC based spreadsheet ability necessary.
Demonstrable typing skills.
The ability to effectively identify, comprehend and incorporate the critical elements of a situation, interpret the implications and, if necessary, implement alternative courses of action.
Demonstrable skills in both oral and written communications. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organizations to accomplish required tasks.
Requires interpersonal skills to maintain a calm, professional manner in stressful and demanding circumstances.
Ability to prioritize and work independently.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
