We are seeking an Administrative Manager for the Administrative Support Group in the Northeast Region.
In coordination with the Director of the Northeast Administrative Support Group (ASG); manage, develop, evaluate, propose, and implement overall operations of the ASG. Take ownership for, and provide the highest level of service to our internal as well as our external clients. Position may require travel to all Northeast locations.
Manage administrative activity relating to: Time and Expense reports, PTO and overtime management, manage LOA's. Responsible for meeting client service charge for staff and temps expectations monthly, internal moves and
telephone changes, new hire/temp set-ups, and special projects.
Interact with Partners and other client service professionals to ensure excellent service is delivered and expectations are met.
Recruit qualified administrative candidates for open positions.
Conduct orientation for new hires and temporary staff.
Create and maintain budget for temporary personnel, overtime and other expenditures.
Update employee databases on a regular basis.
Supervise summer interns designated by ASG.
Conduct and deliver bi-annual evaluations for staff.
Establish and cultivate positive relationships with administrative staff and internal clients.
Work in conjunction with other administrative functions to meet the needs of our clients.
Consult with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues.
Coach and counsel staff on developmental needs. Continually motivating your staff.
Ensure client satisfaction and Service First
concept is being implemented by your staff.
Encourage staff to attend Firm training classes.
Learn and understand responsibilities of other members of the management team.
Participate in manager specialty committees.
Act as back up for manager colleagues in their absence.
Determine and deliver compensation to staff.
Responsible for all operational functions relating to this position.
College degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5-8 years related management experience necessary.
Proactive and service oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally.
Solid PC user.
