Administrative Assistant / Secretary

Carmike Cinemas, Inc is a premiere motion picture exhibitor in the industry. As of June 30, 2004, Carmike operates 2,229 screens, 291 theatres in 36 states. Carmike Cinemas growth was through acquisitions in the 1980's and early 1990's. Stadium seating was introduced to the industry in the mid 1990's and as a result Carmike began constructing theatres to include stadium seating and digital sound

We curently are interviewing candidates for the position of District Office Administrative Assistant for our District Office located at the Oakdale Stadium 20, in Oakdale, MN.

This candidate must be able to pass a criminal and credit background check.

This position requires but is not limited to:

* Assisting the District Manager in the day to day operations of the District 10 office, to which 18 theatres report
* Data entry into the corporate showtimes website
* Faxing, filing, and organizing of office paperwork
* Coordinating with District Manager while he is traveling
* Answering Office phone lines
* Assisting District Manager with requests from the corporate office
* Adherence to company deadlines

The position work hours are typically 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
