Administrative Assistant/Event Planner
Support Director in general administrative duties as well as providing support for programs and projects. Coordinate meetings, events, conference and trade shows.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Support statewide activities as requested by Director.
Perform receptionist duties.
Maintain meeting and event attendee lists for both on-site and other meetings and events.
Coordinate meeting and event logistics, including preparation of agendas and materials, also providing speaker and VIP support as needed.
Make travel arrangements as required for Director and others attending team meetings.
Provide budget development/management support to Director and CSA Administrative Office.
Maintain office library and office files.
Support Director’s scheduling and calendering needs.
Prepare letters, memos, reports and other documents as requested, using word processing, spreadsheets, database and/or presentation software.
Occasional travel, weekends and overtime work may be required.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Attributes

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Knowledge of general office procedures and administrative assistance.
Multi-tasker, quick-learner, trouble-shooter and problem-solver – ability to remain flexible and supportive in high-energy, entrepreneurial environment.
Political awareness and sensitivity.
Computer proficient including MS Office, web research, email, ACT database, file maintenance, back-up, etc.
Excellent decision making and sound judgment
Attentive to detail, good time management and prioritization skills.
Experience in meetings, event and conference/trade show planning.
Required Experience
3-5 years administrative assistant experience in high-energy setting. Strong Computer skills, experience with database programs (ACT), and event and conference planning.
