General Job Description:
Provide administrative support and business detail to Exhibitor Sales and ServicesDepartment and staff by performing the following dutiesAct as Webmaster for AVW On-Line Ordering ServiceRetrieve and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mailMaintain department filing systemEdit, compose and type routine correspondence and proposalsFile correspondence and other recordsCompile and type customer response reports and revenue data, as well as other statistical reportsCompose, create and distribute all order forms and other customer documents in InDesign formatRecord minutes of staff meetingsMake copies of correspondence or other printed materialsPrepare and tracks purchase order billing, and invoicing; as directed by assigned staffCalculate staff time cards for payrollAccept incoming customer calls when reps are unavailable and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate staff personnelGenerate show filesCoordinate customer mail-outs and correspondenceAssist staff as needed in preparing for shows, i.e., marking floor plans, cross-referencing exhibitor lists, etc.Place courtesy calls to customers as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentAssociate's Degree or equivalent from a two (2) year college or technical school; or three to five (3-5) years related experience and/or training in a customer service related position; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to work with accounting concepts such as credits and accrualsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsMust be a self-starter and be able to work unsupervisedAbility to use copy machine, fax machine, telephone, two-way radio, a calculator and/or ten keyMust have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programsMust be able to type 40+ wpmAbility to organize, prioritize and multi-taskExcellent customer service skills
Work Schedule:
Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime is required. No travel.
