Position Information:

This is a nine month position working the months of January through June and August through October; off during the months of July, November and December. This position will provide administrative/clerical support for the three offices under the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Filing; copying; shredding;

- Running errands;

- Assisting with mass mailings of graduate applications;

- Responding to email correspondence;

- Scheduling appointments;

- Answering telephones, directing calls, and taking messages;

- Managing office traffic flow;

- Maintaining database;

- Assisting with special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college preferred.

A minimum of two years' work experience is required; preferably in administrative/clerical role. Previous university experience is desirable.

Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. Must possess the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. The ability to quickly learn new computer programs is essential. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Internet Explorer, Outlook and FileMaker Pro is plus.
