Admin Systems Analyst
DB Pension Systems Analyst working as part of the RFM Pension Administration Group, which is responsible for providing defined benefit administrative services to multiple RFM clients. Systems Analysts design, manage, and support DBCalc, a PC-based system used to calculate retirement benefits for corporate pension plans.
Specific Accountabilities
Analyze plan requirements and code the required plan provisions into the DBCalc system
Provide technical resource support to pension administration outsourcing teams and clients
Assume responsibility for quality control of the client's pension calculation system
Support other Hewitt Associates in the use of the DBCalc system
Take ownership of specific system(s) initial coding, testing, release, ongoing support, training of other associates
Perform unit testing as the system is developed
Monitor the ongoing DBCalc system, troubleshoot problems that arise, and identify ways to improve the efficiency of processing and the system
Assist in the collection of client data
Review participant/member data and clean it up if information is missing or inaccurate
Broaden knowledge of Defined Benefit administration rules
Deliverables and Performance Measures
Provide technical support for Defined Benefit administration client teams for multiple RFM clients.
Individualized time goals for revenue, client and total time
Quality assurance: Services provided are accurate and measures are put in place and followed to assure the highest quality
REQUIREMENTS
Education/ Certifications/ Work Experience Required
Bachelors degree in a related discipline (e.g. computer science, math, statistics, finance, or other quantitative areas)
Zero to three years relevant work experience
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases (i.e. Excel and Access)
Previous testing, coding and or other systems set up experience (preferred)
Knowledge of Defined Benefit plans/administration (preferred)
Knowledge Base Preferred
Defined Benefits knowledge is preferred.
