Admin Clerk & Rental Agent

We are currently identifying new team members for our location in East Boston, MA. If you have a strong customer service background and excel in a fast paced environment you may be a great fit for the following opening:
Administrative Clerk
Provide support for administrative tasks required in the respective city and/or region office. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.
Job Responsibilities:
•Answer telephone and take messages accordingly. Direct incoming calls appropriately.
•Respond appropriately to all customer inquiries and calls.
•Type reports and correspondence. Copy and collate materials as required.
•Receive, distribute and prepare mail.
•Establish and maintain centralized files; this may include such things as employee files, tracking vacation/sick time and time cards.
•Provide support on special projects such as title registration, fleet maintenance, maintenance tracking on vehicles, turnback recording, etc., as required.
•Order supplies and forms to maintain adequate supplies; may include supplier, vendor and repair services contact.
•Prepare payroll for hourly employees including entering data into on-line time entry system and preparation of employee control documents (new hires, PAF’s) as required.
•Maintain copy and fax machines as required.
•Make travel arrangements as required.
•Distribute new employee orientation materials and assist with the completion of required paperwork.
•Handle cash and prepare deposits.
•Cash control.
•Management reserves the right to modify, change or delete duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, etc.
•Knowledge of basic math skills.
•Knowledge of efficient office procedures and how to operate standard office equipment.
•Ability to utilize CRT reports/data.
•Ability to maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional image.
•Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
•Must be able to understand, read and write English.
•High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
•Experience preferred.

Rental Agent
Summary:
Provide a superior, friendly and efficient transaction, at the time of rental and return of vehicle, using the company-approved sales and service techniques. Facilitate the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the wants and needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. THIS POSITION IS HOURLY + COMMISSION.
Responsibilities:
Use company approved sales and service techniques when determining customer needs. Offer all optional products to meet customer wants and needs.Make eye contact and greet all customers. Thank customers at the conclusion of their transaction.Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely.Qualify each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines.Offer all customers assistance with directions, maps, local area information and service information.REview rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges.Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.Answer the phone in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.Maintain the appearance of the rental counters and areas to present a neat and orderly image.Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method.Perform other customer service related duties to ensure our service meets the needs of the customer.</
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.2+ years of sales and customer service experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong sales capabilities with ability to effectively offer and sell incremental items.Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate instructions from management to other staff members.Ability to multitask, handle pressure situations and troubleshoot customer complaints.Requires ability to work flexible hours.
