Ad Sales Coordinator I (11248)

THIS POSITION WORKS OUT OF THE DAYTONA BEACH OFFICE

The Ad Sales Coordinator position provides exceptional internal support between the Sales Department and the Traffic and Billing Departments. THis position is key in providing outstanding customer service to advertisers and agencies in support of the company's goals. Advertising Sales Coordinators are part of a high performance team and are expected to find creative solutons for day-to-day business activities in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls, take messages or page as necessary.
Primary liaison betwee the Traffic Department and AE's. Includes processing, checking and revising orders and various other traffic functions.
Supports and assist the Sales Manager as directed. Performs typing and clerical functions for the office. Maintains general files for the office.
Responsible for preparation of sending and delivering all mail including interoffice mail.
Maintain postage machine, prepare Federal Express shipments and arrange courier services when needed.
Responsible for maintaining copy machines, fax machine and printers which includes reporting all malfunctions and placing and tracking service calls.
Primary backup for the Sales Assistant during vacation and sick time.
Responsible for maintaining supply room stock for the office. Maintains records of purchases and forwards invoices to the Ad Sales Business Department.
Maintain vacation and sick schedules for office.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced computer skills including Windows 2000, Microsoft Word and Excel essential. Good interpersonal and communications skills required. Must be organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be reliable, team-oriented and possess good problem-solving skills. Must be able to plan, prioritize and re-prioritize as situations dictate. Knowledge of cable industry helpful. Must be able to operate office equipment (copier, fax machine, etc.) Must have valid FL drivers license.

Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years experience in an office environment, preferable media.
This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and should be available to assist AE's and other personnel in the Department as needed. This position works primarily indoors throughout the year. May sit for long periods of time.
THIS POSITION WILL WORK OUT OF THE DAYTONA BEACH OFFICE.

All positions require a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
