Privately-held software firm based in Clarendon, Virginia, seeks to add 3 Accounting Clerks to their fast-growing group. Location is within walking distance of the Orange Line Clarendon Metro stop.


The ideal candidates will be available immediately, hold a degree in accounting and have excellent communication and client service skills. The firm creates IT software to support IT Managed Services providers - locally and globally - and serves a diverse customer base including government, defense, education, healthcare, corporate and other key sectors. These positions offer recent accounting graduates an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development. More importantly, the company offers an energetic work environment where its employees work hard and have fun.


The positions are *temporary-to-hire* with a 3-month consultancy.


Job responsibilities will include:

* Reconciliation postings
* Processing cash receipts and credit card authorizations
* Entering billing information in the proprietary system
* Heavy data entry
REQUIREMENTS
For consideration, the candidate must possess:


Basic accounting skills
Strong data entry skills
Ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail
Excellent communication skills - will be interacting with clients over the phone
Ability to take direction well and succeed with minimual supervision


This position is paid by the hour and is non-exempt. Target compensation $15 to $17 per hour plus overtime and competitive benefits package.
