We are currently working with a national independent broker/financial service company located in the Pittsburgh area. This company has roots as deep as 1982 and provides expert counseling in various areas.

We are currently seeking an Accounting Administrator to work for this company. As an Associate Assistant, you will be responsible for:Maintaining QuickBooks and Production reports for home office cases and associates.Ensuring all cases are entered timely and accurately (no later than 48 hours after receipt of paperwork, and all cases are to be caught up on a weekly basis.Will proactively check QuickBooks for cases and clear pending cases out of system every 30 days.Will maintain a log of conversations with Associates to ensure cases are proactively followed up on.Sending monthly production reports.Will respond to associates with commission requests within 24 hours of request.Will assist in the annual meeting.Ensures contracts are mailed to associates.Processing company bills and commission checks within 24 hours of receipt.Communicating rate changes to all associates immediately, including copying rate changes for office staff.

Some general office duties will be required as well to maintain a small office environment.Maintains all office equipment and supplies for this equipment.Checking faxes and delivering to appropriate person.Collecting all mail and process through postage machine and ensure that all overnight mail packages/Fed Ex.Handling associate requests for marketing supplies such as business cards, letterheads, envelopes, etc...Handling petty cash and disbursing requests for petty cash, documenting date/reason/amount of each request and for the monthly balance of petty cash.Will provide back up to other office members as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting.Exceptional Detail Orientation.Time Management & Organizational Skills.Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks.Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.Possess a strong ability for multitasking.
