Berry Network, Inc., (BNI), a subsidiary of The Berry Company, a BellSouth company, is seeking a detail and results-oriented individual with a drive to move up in a marketing company to fill a position as a Sales Support/Administrative Assistant role. This is a full time position located in their Irvine, California office reporting directly to the Office Manager.



BNI is dedicated to enhancing our client's business by providing directory and Internet advertising that links national advertisers and consumers. Over 550 successful advertisers rely on BNI to maximize their directional marketing investment.



Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs general administrative duties such as composing and typing correspondence, maintaining departmental files, ordering supplies, handling travel arrangements, answering telephones, distribute mail, etc. Uses discretion and judgment when screening telephone calls, visitors, relaying confidential information and planning and prioritizing work load. May schedule or arrange training classes, meetings or conferences involving vendor contact. May assist in maintaining departmental budget. May maintain database of information which is departmental function specific.



Responsibilities include:

Type letters, memos, reports and files for multiple people. Perform general administrative duties such as filing, mail, faxing, ordering office supplies, etc. Assist in preparation of client/prospect presentations. Answer and route all incoming calls and record messages when appropriate. Assist Office Manager with other work related items such as travel arrangements and expense reporting Support sales team with any necessary materials

Annual earnings start between $25,000 to $35,000 depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS




The minimum qualifications for this position would entail:



High School Diploma/GED

General administrative duties experience preferred

Ability to prioritize and organize tasks

Work in a fast-paced work environment

Be a positive, independent self-starter

Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook

Excellent written and oral communication skills with a friendly and professional presence
