Must be able to manage up to 20-25 Mortgage Broker clients.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSolicitation of residential mortgage loans from Mortgage Brokers:
•Loan Structure & Loan Pricing;•Review of Declines with Broker;•On-going general broker training vis-à-vis Homefield products;•Dispute resolution vis-à-vis conditions;•Must be able to juggle multiple products / programs / guidelines & price models;•Maintain efficient and consistent submission procedures from Brokers;•Liaison between Homefield and Brokers – working as a TEAM;•Training of brokers’ loan officers for all products / programs;•Solicit new brokers;•Objective performance measurement of Broker clients;•Capitalization upon broker key competence;•Consistency in superior attitude;•Team Player;•Outstanding interpersonal skills;•Strong work ethic and fierce company loyalty;•Extensive working knowledge of current mortgage underwriting trends;•Exemplary professional conduct standards;•Strong role – must show significant initiative and creativity.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE•Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent or higher•Minimum of (3) three years Wholesale Sales experience.•Minimum of (5) five years experience in the Mortgage Industry.•Superior written and oral communication skills.•Detailed knowledge of multiple products / programs / Agency, Alt-A, Option Arms, Subprime, 2nds.This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic candidate to succeed and grow in a dynamic work environment!
